Erin's Fall Family Session

This is the most whimsical gallery I've ever edited! The light, the weather, the outfits... they were all perfect!

We met at Big Woods Lake in Cedar Falls, Iowa, one hour before sunset. Now, the bugs... they were everywhere. But that didn't stop us from running around the lake, chasing the golden sunset.

Everyone was a bit tired when we arrived. Because of this, I figured we would get moving! We were running, twirling, laughing, and finding the prettiest flowers we could. Once energy was up, we started playing some games to get the laughs out big time...

Piggy back rides, Ring Around the Rosie, and my favorite, "Who can scream the loudest?"
I usually get to hear who can scream the loudest pretty quickly. Afterwards, the sun was setting quickly, so we moved closer to the water and visited the iconic bridge. Some nice fishermen were just below the bridge and were cheering everyone on to smile.

I was so excited to edit this gallery and even more excited that Erin loved her photos. I am so ready to go back and explore more of the trails around the lake!
